Anna is an Advisory and Technical Services Liaison of the Climate Risk Institute with over ten years of experience working with weather, climate, and geospatial data in various settings, including government and academia. She is passionate about sustainable development, climate change adaptation, and risk evaluation. Anna excels in place-based endeavors exploring key change drivers, simulating alternate futures, and scrutinizing climate impacts and extreme weather on agriculture.
As part of the Technical Assistance Partnership (TAP) initiative, Anna collaborates alongside Climate Risk Institute (CRI) peers including Al Douglas, Pablo Rodriquez, and Elvis Asong from Climalogik. Together, they support Cameroon’s National Observatory on Climate Change (ONACC), aiming to bolster ONACC’s capabilities in climate data collection, modeling, and processing for more effective information sharing.
Anna has a profound grasp of spatial analysis technologies. At the Climate Risk Institute, Anna helps across numerous projects and tools, such as the Climate Change Hazards Information Portal (CCHIP), Ontario Regional Adaptation Collaborative, Development and Delivery of Climate Change Impacts and Adaptation Training for Ontario’s Professional Planners, and a Scoping Study on Climate Change Adaptation Training Materials, Tools, and Resources in Canada. Anna’s academic background includes an MSc in Physical Geography from Carleton University and a BA (Hons) in Geography, Geomatics, and Spatial Analysis from the University of Ottawa.
