Support for the design of national gender-sensitive and inclusive environmental governance and climate action

The Technical Assistance Partnership—Expert Deployment Mechanism (TAP-EDM), in collaboration with the Centre de recherches, d’études, de documentation et d’information sur la femme (CREDIF) under the Ministry of Family, Women, Children, and the Elderly, is working with the Government of Tunisia to develop gender-responsive and climate-sensitive strategies and programs.

This initiative will support the national entity in designing awareness-raising plans and strengthening staff capacity on these critical issues. With the expertise of Canadian specialists Ella Nadège Nzobonimpa and Yvio Georges the initiative also seeks to shift mindsets and attitudes toward climate change, reinforcing gender-inclusive environmental governance and climate action.
