Ella Nadège Nzobonimpa is a gender equality specialist with over ten years of experience in international development. She has contributed to various projects and programs in education, maternal and child health, and food security in Africa. Over the past five years, she has strengthened her Gender-Based Analysis Plus (GBA+) expertise by training municipal staff in the City of Montreal and supporting partner organizations in implementing GBA+ into their projects.
As a Canadian Technical Expert for the Technical Assistance Partnership – Expert Deployment Mechanism (TAP-EDM), Ella, alongside another Canadian expert, is collaborating with the Centre de recherches, d’études, de documentation et d’information sur la femme (CREDIF) under the Ministry of Family, Women, Children, and the Elderly and the Government of Tunisia to develop gender-responsive and climate-sensitive strategies and programs. This initiative will support the national entity in designing awareness-raising plans and strengthening staff capacity on these critical issues.
