The Technical Assistance Partnership (TAP) initiative, with one of Canada’s premier experts in gender-based analysis, Tracy Apoll, is working with Mexico’s Ministry of Finance to design a strategy to promote diversity and the inclusion of women in the financial sector.
The initiative aims to increase women’s participation, raise awareness, and strengthen leadership in the Ministry. Tracy will use the Gender-Based Analysis Plus (GBA Plus) methodology with an intersectionality approach to facilitate the process and identify gaps and barriers to women’s advancement into leadership positions.
The work will entail an organizational assessment, a proposal of alternative solutions, and a gender integration strategy to minimize identified gaps and set indicators to measure the implementation of the proposed approach.
