Project Profile
Bolivia’s interim government has identified gender issues, and specifically the prevention of gender-based violence in Bolivia, as a key priority. Despite notable progress, Bolivia remains one of the countries with the highest level of violence against women and children. Hence, appropriate and effective public policy tools as well as a deeper understanding of on-going gender equality challenges is needed to strengthen the capacity of government actors to address gender issues effectively.
