Support for the Climate Change Competence Centre in Morocco

The Technical Assistance Partnership (TAP) initiative, with Canada’s premier experts Eddy Perez, André-Yanne Parent, Magali Troin and Adrien Lambert are working in collaboration with the Government of Morocco’s Climate Change Competence Centre (4C). The 4C is a national platform for dialogue and capacity building for the various actors and a hub for climate change information open to its regional, African, and international environment.

The initiative aims to support the 4C’s capacity development to deliver programs and services focused on gender and climate change, climate diplomacy, and climate resilience and adaptation in urban settings. The work by the experts includes a gender action plan for the 4C, a training session on climate change negotiations and a pilot adaptation and resilience strategy for the Province of Tetouan in Morocco.
