Tracey Foster is an international development expert with over 20 years of global experience. She specializes in leadership, has worked in various countries worldwide, and understands leadership approaches for different sectors and cultural contexts. She has worked for organizations like Médecins Sans Frontières, Human Rights Watch, and the Canadian Interagency Security Advisory Forum.
As an expert for the Technical Assistance Partnership (TAP) initiative, Tracey collaborates alongside another Canadian expert, Seyi Dada (Kakanfo), and the Federal Ministry of Health’s Family Health Department (FHD) to strengthen the capacity for quality Reproductive, Maternal, Neonatal, Child, Adolescent, and Elderly Health plus Nutrition (RMNCAEH+N) programs and services in Nigeria.
Tracey has developed comprehensive people management policies, customized training programs, and established in-house leadership coaching services. She is passionate about leadership development, coaching, training, and facilitation and volunteers as a coach with the Humanitarian Coaching Network. This commitment has introduced her to leaders worldwide who work in the humanitarian sector.
Tracey is based in Ottawa and consults for the Global Centre for Pluralism, Ilitaqsiniq, International Development and Relief Foundation (IDRF), and Cooperation Canada. She is an associate certified coach with the International Coaching Federation and holds a master’s in leadership and learning from Royal Roads University.
