Matthew Cadman

Since joining CAN-TF 2 in 2020, Matt Cadman has worked in many specialities, including IT and communications, logistics, IMT, K9, and Technical Search.  In 2024, Matt accepted the Technical Search Working Group lead position for CAN-TF 2. He was drawn into the complexity of Technical Search, spending many hours training with this working group for the past two plus years, becoming proficient with multiple types of search processes and techniques, utilizing specialized search equipment – Thermal and visual search cameras (Fl360/Zistos) and acoustic listening equipment (Delsar). Matt has been deployed in response to the Yellowhead County Wildfire (2023) and Jasper Wildfires (2024) as part of CAN-TF 2’s Incident Management Team.
